West Vancouver, Millennium Development on Hold
October 24th, 2008Seems that almost daily there is another development that has been put on hold.
This time it is a Millennium project at Park Royal in West Vancouver. That’s right, the same developer that is building the Olympic Village and was in the news recently for concern over large cost overruns for that project.
In this case there seems to be conflicting stories as to the reason for putting the project on hold, they have said that it is due to the fact that it is a poor time of the year to work on the site, and in another instance they have said that they have not finished the presentation centre.
In any case, it seems to me that it is more likely that they want to give the market some time to stabilize and see where things are at.
