Victoria Condo Owners Can’t Get Funding From HPO To Fix Leaky Condo
June 19th, 2009Looks like the very office that was set up to help leaky condo owners fund the repairs to their buildings is falling victim to market forces. Seems that the funding they use comes from new home building which is down of course. So that makes sense, people that bought leaky condos that leak in part due to a poor building code, are now having trouble BORROWING the money to fix them. I guess if government can’t take some responsibility for a poor building code, why would they take any responsibility for helping the poor victims fix the problem.
