Sellers Must Show a Willingness and Desire to Sell
December 23rd, 2008I know I have said this before in different ways, but I want to say it again because I continue to see and here of examples of it.
In the current condo market, there are a smaller number of buyers and a larger number of sellers so if you want your place to sell you must show the buyers that you want to sell. It is not like it was in a sellers market when the buyers were the ones that had to put their best foot forward and do all the follow up etc.
In this market, if you have people looking at your unit you are lucky, and you know that they are probably looking at others as well, so what will make the difference. Well I think in many cases it is simply a matter of calling the buyers or buyers agent and letting them know that you are motivated, you want to sell so there is a deal to be had. This alone may be the reason the buyer chooses to pursue your unit over another similar one.
You know what they say, it is the small things that matter.
