Condo Snow Shoveling May Tell Another Story, Maintenance
January 6th, 2009Well I recently wrote a post about the fact that it was great living in a condo because you do not have to shovel snow. This still is the case, but I overlooked the fact that someone does have to shovel the snow and seems that this is a problem in some cases. This suggests that if the condos and Strata cannot manage to have the snow cleared, maybe there is more that they are not doing that is of greater concern.
Not sure how true this would be, but certainly makes some sense and could be one factor out of the many to consider. Of course reading minutes, maintenance reports, getting inspections etc. would still be top of list.
Maybe this is one more thing you can do as a Seller to give you a better chance of selling, make sure your strata is having the snow cleared when needed. Maybe a small thing but everything helps.
Amazing how many stories can come from a month of winter.
