A proposed North Vancouver Condo Development is looking to use geothermal energy. This is something that is relatively new in residential construction and comes with an initial cost, but long run there are considerable cost savings and environmental savings.
There is one other building I am aware of in Burnaby that uses the same technology. Verdant, [...]

Well just another sign that the market is changing, Wall Financial has decided to cancel the development of condos on its False Creek site and instead move ahead with plans for a rental building instead.
They feel that there are enough condos currently to handle to demand out there, so they will add to the rental [...]

OK, I was supposed to stop talking about this topic, but I think it is only fair to give Millennium side of the story. As with most things, there are two sides to every story and there is usually some truth to both of them.

There is no question that condo sales have slowed significantly in recent months and many are concerned about what the future has in store.
As usual, there is always two sides to every story and the positive side to this one is that developers are starting to look at developing rental condos again. It was only [...]

Looks like time is running out for Millennium to get its act together in Nanaimo to start the hotel complex beside the new convention centre. City may pull the project form Millennium if they don’t meet looming deadlines.
Just a thought, but maybe Millenium want to be axed to get out of an obligation they no [...]

It seems that more and more condo developments in downtown Vancouver may be adding childcare spaces. There is one specifically that will be opening next year, Atelier on Robson. I think this is great for a city that is in desperate need of more spaces for childcare.
I find it interesting in the Georgia Straight article [...]
